Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best recognized for her roles performed on the television series Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. At the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue is an American actress, producer and director who is employed in film and television. She began her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she not only received praise from critics but also numerous nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. She made her professional debut as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. The actress has appeared on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her work in Men of Honor and the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her part as a regular in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
