Awkwafina, an American singer and actress began by releasing a humorous rap track which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released a series of raps. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet. Additionally, she was given classical and jazz training later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. The My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef, a body positive song and the winking NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. The singer decided to make acting careers after completing her first two ventures as a musician and author. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2. Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered many major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by In Fina We Trust in June of the year.
